SC 029/12...

Welcome to a new week & a new challenge.

Before we get into today's challenge we must give a big thank you to Shirley from www.stampingwithelephants.wordpress.com - isn't that a great name for a blog?  She stepped in to take over from Gwen at the last moment & has done such a fantastic job.  I feel words are not enough to express out thanks, but again Shirley, a huge THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Gwen will be joing us again in the next couple of weeks.

Now on to this week's challenge.

For Shirley's signing off challenge she has set us a pretty much free range.  The only part of our challenge this week is to use the colours of Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Basic Gray & Very Vanilla.  Aren't these gorgeous colours?
.

Ok, now we would love to see you send Shirley off with a heap of lovely samples.

Once you have created your master piece, link it back with Mr Linky.

You have until Friday night.

Happy Stampin'

SC 028/12....

A new week brings a new challenge.  This week, we are going to focus on a great Technique - Faux Silk!  Looks hard enough, but is so easy you will wonder why you haven't tried this technique previously.  Don't forget to go by the sketch to create your card, scrapbook page, etc.

For those of you who haven't done this technique, please click on the link & you will be taken to a great tutorial on how to do Faux Silk.

Sketch -

Now you have seen our cards, we would like to see yours!

Go create, post to your blog or online group & link back to Mr Linky.

You have until midnight Friday......

Happy Stampin!

SC 27/12

Here it is at the beginning of another challenge week.  How quickly they seem to pass.

Hope you have all had a chance to pop in and give Sarah a shout of congratulations for being last week's Ray of Sunshine.

This week it's my turn to post and as well as using my sketch, I want you to use your favourite combination using Black and White and one other colour of your choice.  For me the colour part was easy, I love Black, White and Red but coming up with something to fit the sketch was really hard.  Let me say that I "like" my card but I do not "love" it.  So here is the sketch.

And here is your inspiration for this week.

Now it is your turn to create something using the sketch and the colour combination.  Remember you can add one colour of your choice to the Black and White.  Once you have created your card, scrapbook page or 3d item, then come back and add it to Mr. Linky.  As always we are really looking forward to seeing your creations.
On behalf of Vicky and Shirley,
Bye for now, Kris.

SC 026/12 - Sketch Challenge with a Wedding Theme

Welcome to another fun week at Sunny Challenges & Creations. This week I'm back with my second challenge since joining the girls at Sunny Challenges. It was great to see so many entries last week and I'm hoping this week's challenge will inspire you to play along.

Have you noticed how every where you look at the moment there seems to be "Weddings" in the air. Brides all around the country are preparing for their Autumn Weddings and guests like me are eagerly awaiting to see that gorgeous Bride walk down that aisle.

So this week I have come up with a Sketch challenge incorporating a "Wedding" Theme. Here is the sketch.

And here are the design's team's card designs.

So now I would love to see you all play along with this wonderful challenge this week. Be sure to link your creation by Friday night.
Guidelines -

1. Create your card using the stated Sketch & Wedding Theme
2. Post it online somewhere, eg, your blog or another online group/forum, eg Splitcoast Stampers
3. Please remember to link back to the site hosting the challenge
4. Post to Mr Linky – please ensure you link to your post & not just your blog
5. Please be aware, we reserve the right to remove any links with non-Stampin’ Up Products, links to online stores, etc. We just want to have fun!
6. Most importantly, have fun & leave comments for each other, as we know everyone loves a comment!
7. Mr Linky will be open until Midnight the following Friday.
8. Return the following Saturday to see who our "Ray of Sunshine" is for this challenge.
9. Be sure to check back each Sunday for a new Challenge.
