SC 54/12

This week the challenge is brought to you by Kris.   We have a sketch and a new technique to try.  Magical Masking.  This is a really fun technique and a great way to get your fingers inky (literally).

Basically you need glossy card and some masking tape.  You take lengths of masking tape and put the sticky side down on the ink pad and give it a rub.  Then you put the sticky side down on your glossy card and rub it again.  Then you need to pull the tape off quickly (think waxing your legs - ouch).  The masking tape comes off and it doesn't tear the card.   It really is fun and you can get some really lovely backgrounds.

So here is the sketch.

And here is your inspiration for the week.

Weekly Guest Designer -

So now it's your turn, once you have created your card, scrap page or 3d item, pop back and add it to Mr. Linky.  Remember you have until Friday evening around 6pm to be part of the challenge.

We can't wait to see what you create this week.

I love simple techniques that produce an awesome result, and Magic Masking is just such a technique. Will definitely try this. I came over from CherylAnn's blog to see what all the fun is about here, and I am glad that I did! Lots of talent here!
